England and Wales need more gospel workers. That conviction - shared by a group of evangelical training leaders convened by 9:38 at Yarnton Manor in May 2024 - has led to the formation of a new trust with a single driving vision: to multiply gospel workers across England and Wales, to serve in local churches, reaching the lost.
The Yarnton Gospel Workers Trust has now been established to address that need directly, through two complementary means: enabling and funding the training of gospel workers. Through three grant streams - supporting individuals in foundation training roles, advanced training routes, and those strengthening training culture in their churches and networks - Yarnton is seeking to change the culture around training across England and Wales. Full details are available elsewhere on this website.
Those who gathered at Yarnton left with a shared commitment - convinced that ministry is a noble task, convicted to pray to the Lord for workers, and determined to work together, believing much more can be achieved together than apart. In the months that followed, a working group examined the training landscape across England and Wales and built the shared vision and strategy that now underlies the Trust.
Yarnton is now accepting applications for its first grant round.
The closing date for applications is 30th June 2026.

Please pray that Yarnton will make a positive contribution to the training landscape in England and Wales.
It is to the Lord we look, earnestly praying that He will raise up and send out workers. May He do more than we can ask or imagine.
